Latin Hypercube Versus Monte Carlo Sampling

Question: The @RISK and RISKOptimizer manuals state, “We recommend using Latin Hypercube, the default sampling type setting, unless your modeling situation specifically calls for Monte Carlo sampling.”  But what’s the actual difference?
